Preset the oven for 220c/ 425F or gas mark 7
Peel, core and slice the apples into large pieces and place in a saucepan with just an inch of water to cover the bottom of the pan. Add the cinnamon. Cover and bring to a boil then turn down and simmer until the apples are slightly soft. Then pour the flour into a large mixing bowl, add the sugar or honey and grind the seeds, rub in the butter until you make small crumbs.
Pour the apple mixture into an ovenproof dish, add the crumble topping over it and press down gently running a fork over the top to add texture.
Cook in the oven for approx 30 mins until the topping has lightly browned
