Savoury Vegetarian Rice


Cooking Instructions

Boil the rice in water in a saucepan for around 20-25 mins until water has been absorbed, add the garden peas in for the last few minutes.

Add oil to a frying pan, add onions, mushrooms, peppers and nuts after 5 mins

When lightly stir fried add the peas and rice and stir for one more minute on a low heat

Stir in optional marmite and a pinch of black pepper to taste

Serve with slices or grated cheese, salad leaves in the picture I used spinach add greek yoghurt or cranberry sauce for extra yummyiness :)
