Yoga Pose of the Month


Here is one of the Hip Flexor Stretchs we do in Fitness Yoga.

We hold the posture for approx 60-90 seconds . It feels wonderful to hold this position as you can feel it through the front of your hip, your inner thigh, back and shoulders...with body weight forward and pelvis tilted. It is a good stretch for people who spend most of their working day sitting down as the hip flexors can become tight and prone to injury. It's also great for runners too The hip flexors are a group of muscles including both muscles of the hips and upper thighs. Your hip flexors move your knees into your chest and also move your legs from front to back and side to side.
